Intertextuality?

I think that intertextuality is such a powerful and strong thing that we experience through our lives. Even though we may not always catch those similarities, when we do it means something special within our lives. I notice intertextuality in my life on a little different type of similarity. Many times it might not be through what I am reading or seeing, yet it might be something I had recently become aware of that pops up into my life in a different way. It is almost an awareness that brings you a sense of passion and excitement that there is so much in the world and we are able to experience it.

An example of this would be when I started doing yoga and taking time throughout the day to really take in all that life was giving me, I realized how much the world had to offer. That is not an example of intertextuality per-say, but gave me the opportunity to experience that intertextuality. I read a book about the birth order and the way we are all different based on when we were born into our families. Maybe not always true but you can see that not only in real life but in other books that talk about family psychology. I think that intertextuality is a special type of skill and opportunity to fill our lives with knowledge from all over. Intertextuality may not be seen to the person next to you or those that you tell but it creates a passion from within that gives us all a sense of life.
