Media?
If there was a way to know everything that was happening in the world in a true and honest way, would you want to know? I think that we all forget how mainstream media is run by people, just like us. It is their jobs and their livelihoods. I think that with everything in life, like I have said in my previous blogs, that we need to remain suspicious and willing to question things. The same idea should go along with mainstream media. Where does the news draw the line between fake and real? Not even just that but a lot of mainstream media remains bias. In many ways, media can be extremely helpful and beneficial.
We can see that in the view of politics the mainstream news is bias. In a way, everyone has bias, in all sorts of things. The point of all of this is to once again remain willing to question the information your'e given. When you allow false ideas to freely roam in your head, there is a chance that you are also becoming bias. Have you ever judged someone for something you found out was not even true? The point is that we need to focus on being kind, understanding, and loving all people. The media might not be true, the media might be false, but if you are being kind it will not matter. I am not bringing my opinion in this, but I think before judging and being bias, remembering that empathy should always come first. Unity and being there for everyone.
